HALO laser treatment is a revolutionary skin rejuvenation therapy that combines the power of two lasers in one, delivering transformative results with minimal downtime. This hybrid fractional laser technology uses both ablative and non-ablative wavelengths to target multiple skin concerns simultaneously.

How HALO Works

HALO’s unique dual-wavelength approach allows it to address both surface-level and deeper skin issues:

  1. Ablative wavelength (2940 nm): Targets the epidermis, removing damaged skin cells and stimulating collagen production.
  2. Non-ablative wavelength (1470 nm): Penetrates deeper into the dermis, enhancing skin elasticity and addressing pigmentation issues.

This combination creates controlled zones of coagulation at chosen depths, promoting new collagen formation and fractionally vaporizing micro laser channels in the epidermis.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is the treatment painful?

With a topical anesthetic and integrated cooling technology, most patients experience very little discomfort. Most patients describe the sensation as warm with mild prickling. A topical anesthetic ensures maximum comfort.

  • How long is the recovery period?

For the first 24 hours you should keep your skin protected according to your clinician’s instructions, but after that you should be able to go about your normal activities. After the first 24 hours your skin will begin to peel, but you will be able to put on makeup. For a facial treatment, you will see very little change on the first day. After two to three days you will develop a light bronzing appearance. By day three or four your skin will peel, revealing your new skin.

  • How many sessions will I need?

What’s great about Halo is that you can choose how many treatments you want! Discuss with our team your needs and goals and you can choose to have one or two more aggressive treatments or have multiple treatments that are less aggressive and achieve a similar goal over a longer period of time. Results are noticeable after one session, but multiple treatments may be recommended for optimal results.

  • When will I see results?

Initial improvements can be seen within a week, with continued enhancement over the next few months as collagen production increases.

  • Is Halo safe for all skin types?

Halo is safe for most skin types, though a consultation will help determine the best approach for your specific needs.

  • How long do results last?

Your Halo results will last for years to come, but you should continue to keep your skin protected at all times using UV sunscreen to protect your new, healthy skin. Each additional Halo treatment you get will only improve the results, giving you even better looking skin.

  • Can Halo treat body areas?

Yes, Halo can be used on the face, neck, chest, hands, and other areas showing signs of aging or sun damage.

  • Is there anything I should avoid before the treatment?

Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and certain skin treatments like chemical peels or retinols for at least two weeks prior.

Post-Treatment Care

After treatment, patients should protect their skin according to their clinician’s instructions for the first 24 hours. Skin peeling may occur after 2-3 days, revealing new, rejuvenated skin beneath. Applying sunscreen and avoiding direct sun exposure is crucial to protect results.

HALO laser treatment offers a customizable approach to skin rejuvenation, allowing patients to achieve their desired results with minimal downtime and long-lasting effects
