BELKYRA™ is a patented formulation of deoxycholic acid manufactured by Allergan. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring substance in our bodies used to digest fat in our diets. BELKYRA™ destroys the fat cell membrane allowing the chin fat to be excreted out of the body, helping to eliminate the double chin without double chin surgery.!
Typically each treatment session lasts 40 minutes Results vary from person to person and multiple sessions are usually recommended to gradually reduce the unwanted chin fat. As the body expels the chin fat, slimming of the area occurs over the next 8 weeks. The amount of treatments necessary is dependent on the amount of volume to be treated and your body’s response to the Belkyra™.
